ABOUT THE AWARDS

Celebrating South Yorkshire’s start ups, SMEs and entrepreneurs

Launched in 2018, unLTD Business set out to give South Yorkshire a fresh voice.

Five years on, we introduced the unLTD Awards – celebrating the region’s brightest start-ups, SMEs and entrepreneurs. After two fantastic years, the awards return for a third instalment on 11 December 2025 at Peddler Warehouse, Sheffield.

With sector-specific categories and a simple, transparent judging process, the event is designed to celebrate the region’s most forward-thinking businesses.

Awards Entries Open on September 25th.

Your four week window to enter the awards starts now. It’s a super simple process. We just need some straightforward company details, then either a maximum 1000 word written entry or if it’s easier, a maximum 5 minute video entry. You can enter as many awards as are relevant – and often your entry can be easily tweaked for each one. We know you are busy so we want this to be simple!

Awards Entries Close on October 28th.

Try not to leave it to the last minute eh? You’ll surely get a better application if you plan and execute it without the sword of damocles in the form of a deadline hanging over you. But if you do, the last entries will be taken on midnight October 28th. Good luck!

The Shortlist is announced and tickets go on sale on November 5th.

This is the nerve jangling bit! Our team of judges need to deliberate and score your entries but as soon as that’s done, we’ll announce the shortlisted organisations so you can plan your outfits and acceptance speeches in plenty of time. Tickets can be bought from this site or by ordering directly with phil@unltdbusiness.com.

Awards Ceremony, December 11th.

The unLTD Business Awards will be held at Peddler Warehouse in Sheffield’s Kelham Island district on December 11th, starting at 6.45pm and finishing at 11pm.

We’ll host an after party at Factory Floor and the night will be filled with great food, drink and lots of laughs.
